A newly released assessment report from the Commitee of Environment and Natural Resources and National Science and Technology Council evaluates findings of the US Climate Science Program (CCSP) and draws from findings from previous reports such as IPCC Climate Change Report. June 6, 2008 - The very important carbon-capping climate bill with the goal to cut 66% of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 died beginning of June. The support for the bill was there but the opposition won once again. Joliet - May 20, 2008
Continuing to remove illegally dumped waste and to protect the environment from the senseless acts of fly dumpers, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Illinois EPA) Director Doug Scott today announced that the Agency will begin removal of illegally dumped metal waste located at 1126 McKay St., in Joliet, IL.

May 15, 2008 - Stocking the Great Lakes with trout and salmon seems to have a negative impact on the Great Lakes' eco-system. Birds shift their food source to garbage.
